  I know Rockford you are thinking!! This place does not belong in Rockford but in Naperville, Oak Brook, & Chi!! This is the finest, classiest, best restaurant you will ever step foot in period!!!! I first went here on a date. We did not know what to expect since hia company gave him a very genorous gift card to use here. Our bill ended up being $300 I kid you not and thanks to the company for letting us experience such a wonderful place on their dime. I dream of their creme brulee! The dinnerware is real china, your glasses are crystal, your silverware truely is silver. No expense has been spared at this classy restaurant. If you wonder why such a hidden fem is in Rockford- I found out the juicy details: it is a love story really- the art you see on the walls is from an art teacher at the college and she went on vacation to Barbados. She met Josef who has another restaurant down there, they fell in love and viola.. You know have a piece of heaven created from these two love birds in Rockford. So take someone you really love here, and be prepared to spend a grocery month’s worth of food here and I promise you the best date you have or ever will have and an amazing pallete of food!! Do not leave without having dessert- I highly suggest you guessed it the creme brulee!! I also had shrimp cocktail, filet mignon and lobster. Every bite is deliciously heaven!
