AMAZING food! Everything we’ve ever ordered has been delicious, but the Nachos are by far my favorite! I order them EVERY time we go there. Their burritos and burrito bowls are fabulous, as is the Mac and Cheese and the salads. Been there many times, best Tex-Mex in Rockford! 10/10, I recommend!
We were really excited to eat here because of the reviews and fun menu explanations; however, we were not impressed with the food or service. Biggest disappointment: the green chile. We LOVE green chile!! This was not anywhere close to even low standard chile in New Mexico/Colorado. Thank goodness we ordered the green chile fries appetizer (fair, not good) so we could change our dinner orders to avoid a food disaster. The rice was a complete miss and, unfortunately, was the largest component in the burritos. The salsas were good but, though they have a large selection, you can’t try them. Beans were good and the chimichanga was cooked perfectly; if only the inside tasted as good as the outside. The beef was quite fatty, even for a guy who likes a little fat. For the price you pay, this was not at all worth it.

Eat here often. Usually in bar. Always a good experience, food delicious and service good.
Pulled pork…mmmm, grilled cheese….mmmm, natural cut fries….mmmm, chips & guac…mmmm, natural margarita….mmmm (& lots of alcohol)…..OVERALL MMMMMMM!!!!!
Bar service slow. Have been there three times and it’s been pretty slow getting drinks (beer) and chips & salsa. They take your order quickly, but the bar is overwhelmed. Food is good. No MSG which is a plus. A little too noisy for much in the way of conversation.
Food decent, portions huge. I usually reserve judgement of a restaurant until I have been there several times. This place is no exception. I have eaten here several times. The food is good. Patrons should expect the food spicy. The portions are huge. I am not a big fan of providing a large enough portion for two meals and then charging accordingly. Other than that If you like your food spicy this is the place for you.
