Quality of Food is TERRIBLE these days. I used to order from here all the time but the last few times the quality of all the food is terrible. Used to be worth the price, not anymore.Don’t waste your money if you are expecting the same food they used to serve. This place will last another year or two with these HIGH prices for this new BAD QUALITY food.
I’ve really liked the other location. Tried this one for carryout the other day when I was in the area. The pizza wasn’t all that great, but the real disappointment was the salad. We got a family-style Caesar to go, and it was mostly dressing with maybe a regular salad’s worth of lettuce. It was predressed, so we ended up putting the whole mess in a salad spinner and adding a package of spinach to make it edible. This awful, no-meat salad cost $18. A sad last visit to Maciano’s.
Incredible pizza, specifically Chicago style. I have to admit that I have never eaten anything except the pizza here, but I am confident their other dishes are tasty as well. I can’t order anything else when their pizza is so spot on. Enjoy!
Favorite Rockford Restaurant. A favorite restaurant of my wife and I. It is not too big, which makes it a great atmosphere. They offer good portions at reasonable prices, and have good lunch specials. They have several good sandwiches, calzones, and pizzas. The breadsticks are great, and sometimes we’ll pick them up as an appetizer with our home cooked meals. I was less thrilled about the lasagna, but I don’t mind since there’s so many other things that I enjoy.
