Management not responsive to problems. Food’s ok. We’ve gone there for family parties and had to wait for more than 1 hour past the time of the reservation. Once even longer which was hard as we had great grandparents in the group. If other patrons get rowdy, crude or lewd, management won’t ask them to tone it down. If you want to go to a Japanese steak house, try JMK Nippon. The food is just as good, but the atmosphere is much better. Won’t be back.

Fun!. The tappen food is always delicious. I absolutely love their soup and generally have steak or scallops. Both are cooked to perfections. The presentations is always enjoyable and they know how to work the crowd whether they are entertaining kids, a bachelorette party, or a couple on a date.
