Blown Away! Amazing!My partner and I have worked in the five-star hospitality and restaurant industry across the country for a combined 20+ years. Last night (02/29/16) we looked for a local restaurant we have yet to try; we definitely made the right decision!We arrived at 6pm and were greeted promptly by very friendly staff. We were seated at a high top table in the bar. We were then promptly greeted by our server who was also the bartender, Kylie, and were very impressed by her from the start. For our appetizer we ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos; perfect portion, fresh, and not only visually appealing but tasted phenomenal. My partner ordered the 4 Cheese Stuffed Pork Chop (off the feature Menu) with Butternut Squash Risotto and upgraded his side to the Baked French Onion Soup. I ordered the Bourbon Apple Pork Chop with mashed potatoes and a side salad. Both of our entrees were amazing; perfect portions, fresh, and appropriately priced. I was also impressed by their selection of beers (more so their Porters). I have never had a Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter before; so good I had two. We almost never order dessert but after seeing the display we ordered the Chocolate Silk Cake; Out of this World doesnt do it justice, its a chocoholics fantasy! We would like to point out our waitress, Kylie. We did not expect five-star service but that is undoubtedly what we received from her from start to finish! She was personable, professional, and never over bearing. We were enjoying a leisurely dinner and she ensured everything was coursed accordingly. No dishes were served too soon or with long pauses in-between. Even when her bar got full, she was still attentive not leaving us wondering where she was. We were so impressed by her that we asked to speak to the manager, who was in fact the owner.We will not only be back frequently in the future, we will be sounding our praises & sending our friends and family to Tavern on Clark!
Hidden Gem!. Recently discovered this restaurant and was not disappointed! I got the coffee glazed filet mignon (possibly a Valentine’s day special) and it was the best filet I’ve ever had. Even the side dishes were amazing. We will definitely be returning to try out the other menu items. Great selection of pub food and fine dining!
