If I could give more than 5 to this place, I would have. It is my absolute place to eat and chill in north Chicago. Their coffee is arguably the best brewed coffee you ll have in town. The food is amazing. It still has that local watering hole kinda feel, since it has been around for ages now. The food is fantastic, ambiance is very hipster-like. They source local ingredients. The outdoor patio during the warm months is absolutely fantastic. Evenings are also very romantic and calm. They hire some great staff, service is excellent, and very nice people to talk to.No matter where you are, please check this place out.
Delightful spot for a meal or a drink. Terrific juice bar & smoothies, fresh, locally sourced food. Excellent breakfast options and plenty of veg choices. Great location, with plenty of charm. Outside seating, too.
Not only is the food sourced from local farms, but the owner actually owns Earth First Farms (a certified organic apple orchard, small fruit and vegetable farm only 100 miles from Chicago) which supplies the restaurant. How cool is that?! And not only is the food delicious (I loved my quinoa salad), but the portions are significant and it’s very affordable! It’s rare that even a farm-to-table restaurant has this much to offer, not to mention the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Best of Rogers Park. I love this place. The breakfast dishes are excellent and the whole staff are friendly. The store and bar are a bonus.

Great atmosphere. Menu items are very local and organic friendly. Love that they make all their salad dressings and they have a bar–what more could you ask!?
Fabulous gluten-free cornbread is combined with buffalo meat for a delicious and filling breakfast. They have encountered some financial challenges during this economic downturn, so support them! Their food (and service) hasn’t suffered 🙂
