Good but not great. I would eat there again -maybe- but definitely not my favorite Thai restaurant in St. Louis area or metro east even. The service was good and it was a clean restaurant. But it was overpriced for the quality (and quantity was not especially a factor)
MY FAVORITE PLACE!!!. I’ve always said that my favorite meal on Earth is the Udon Noodle w/Chicken at Thip’s. Add the summer rolls and crab rangoon as well, and you’ve got the perfect meal!! I love going to this place!! I could eat there every day … WHAT A TREAT!!!
I’ve driven by this place several times and tonight decided to stop and check it out. WOW!!! The food is FANTASTIC! I have been trying to find a good Thai place and this is it. You must try the Summer rolls with the special sauce…fresh, crisp and oh so good. We had the noodle soup. The broth was hot and had the faint hint of lemongrass.
Thip’s was fantastic!! The coconut thai soup was killer (tons of fresh mushrooms and chicken in a super flavorful broth), the udon noodles were fabulous with the perfect amount of spice, and the thai iced tea was quite refreshing. Felix, the owner, his wife, and our waitress were all extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was extremely clean and comfortable. Looking forward to eating at Thip’s again.
Awesome Thai!. I just moved into an apartment complex very close to Thips. I recently got really into Thai food so I was excited to see that it was a quick walk down the block. Food is very tasty and I’ve always been greeted warmly. You guys are awesome!

We pride ourselves on maintianing Thip’s Thai vision while introducing new, exciting flavors and dishes from Elsa’s native, Philipines and other Southeast Asian favorites. Star, we are sorry about one of our employees and hope that you come join us again another time and we’ll be sure it won’t happen again. If I was in your place, I could see where you’re coming from.
