This is a small town bakery which is about 20 minutes from my house. I am more than willing to make the trip for 2 items at Wood Bakery. They have the best cream horns and frosted brownies, EVER! I’ve tried their donuts and a few other things but its the cream horns and brownies that keep me coming back! Word to the wise, though…arrive early or call in your order or you may leave empty handed.
Went in last week and got a few donuts, good as donuts go, but nothing about it blew me away. They sell cookies and breads in adorable downtown O’Fallon. No inside seating.
Get up early. The baklava is the best in the area! They have like 4 or 5 different kinds. I love it!This place is always busy early in the morning because the food is so good.Oh and if you need a birthday cake, this is the place to go! They took such good care of me and it was such a good cake.
