The only Indian restaurant in Chicagoland that provides consistently great food and service! And, the only restaurant to rely on if you’re taking guests out especially who are going to taste indian cuisine for the 1st time! Everything on their menu is fantastic. The naan is really good and their biryani is amazing! Buffet- I feel is a little overpriced especially if you’re a vegetarian. A must try at gaylord is their Methi Matar Malai with Rajasthani Roti! It is the best I’ve ever had. For dessert, I always order ras malai because its fantastic. The servers will usually coax you for orange kulfi but avoid…its not that great!
We had seen this restaurant on Michael Portillo’s ‘Great American Railway Journeys’ and for a bit of fun went searching for it. Probably the busiest fast food restaurant I have ever been in and we found the ordering and collection process a little bit confusing but as is the norm in the US the staff were really helpful, the food was really good fast food with loads of choice and the atmosphere of the restaurant fab. It has a really interesting decor and is a great American dining experience and we loved it!
