Awesome authentic Mexican food in Schaumburg at this legendary Chicago Mexican restaurant staple. Great service, great chips and salsa, and their prices are incredible for what you get! You also get a complimentary chicken soup as a free appetizer which is actually my secret go-to hangover cure, btw. In addition, they serve free chips and salsa along with pickled spicy vegetables (the carrots are my favorite for sure). In addition, their Margaritas are out of this world and they have the best shrimp cocktail (total hidden gem, IMO) in not only Schaumburg, but all of Chicagoland!Also a great spot for a quick lunch in the Schaumburg / Hoffman Estates area. Their lunch buffet is the best local lunch deal in Schaumburg for my business lunches. Overall a great location in Schaumburg for this Chicago Mexican restaurant. Cant wait to go back!P.S. Their house salsa is ADDICTING (warning, may be kinda spicy for the basic mexican food restaurant patron but true taco-lovers will not get enough!)
Nothing Special. I’ve been here several times, usually getting the buffet. It’s inexpensive, but nothing special. Food is on the bland side, which is authentic, but I like to taste my food. So, go there if you want, but don’t expect your taste buds to be wow’d.
