Been here last year for a Buffet lunch, it was great. Recommended it to everyone, and brought some friends there for a dinner. The experience was not as great with most dishes being sweeter than we expected.
Excellent chicken Biriyani…. Chicken was soft and well cooked and yummy with great flavor. Loved it. Vegetable kuruma, mirchi Salna, kadai panneer were all great… forgot all about my diet in the moment…. nothing like a great meal to end the evening.
One of my favourite places for biriyani..good food, reasonable rates and well kept place. The biriyani is quite good and authentic in taste..I also tried their tandoori chicken which was great. If you go during the weekends for lunch do try their buffet..great price and an awesome variety. If you are looking for a good Indian place in Chicago, then this is one of the place worth exploring.
I have been here a couple of times. First time, I went for dinner with my friends on weekend. We had wonderful food. The taste was good, perfectly spiced and hot enough to be called Indian food. The biryani I had that day was the most amazing biryani that I had in USA so far!Well, with one wonderful experience, I went again for lunch on a weekday and had Biryani once again. The biryani they served this time was a big disaster! I would rate plain Jeera Rice better than this biryani. Unfortunately this turned out to be just another Indian restaurant with most inconsistent food! The price is also slightly on the higher side.I would rather go to Pita And Kabobs for biryani than Paradise!I also had been there for a lunch buffet earlier which was OK.
A disappointing visit-had asked for takeaway for boneless chicken biryani-with a specific request to be Very Spicy. The take away was ready in about 15 minutes. The biryani was at best above medium spicy and seemed like a run of mill biryani.Friends also vouched for the large quantity Paradise offers, but that was not the case to be too-just enough a decent eater.The warmth generally seem at the reception in other Indian restaurants was missing too.
Awful and avoidable. Stay away from this horrible place. I went there first time to get some biryani. Ordered 3 different types and placed my order 30 min prior to getting there. When I got there they asked me to wait for 10 min. After 10 min I got up and asked where my order was and they said they did not have my order. I was like WTF!!! Then they presumably found my order and after another 15 min wait they give me my order and collect my money. When I get to my car I see only 2 items given instead of 3. Went back in and the morons working there said they did not know what happened. Finally got my food and came back home to find the biryani pretty rotten with meat that tasted like leather and it was full of huge onions. I mean what a joke! This place needs to shut down. Absolutely stay away at all costs!!!
I went to Paradise on Saturday for their lunch buffet, got very disappointed by knowing that there was no biryani on their buffet menu. Also the food was cold, the floor was sticky and slippery. It was not worth it – $10.50 for buffet, I had been to better places for buffets at reasonable price. I will not go back there again
