We ate at the Season’s 52 on E Higgins Road in Schaumburg, IL. This appears to be a pretty healthy chain of restaurants with many lower calorie offerings. Our server Gani made the evening. He was attentive and entertaining. We started off the evening with a bottle of Luigi Bosca Malbec. Overall our food was very good. We entertained a cup of Portuguese Kale & Chorizo soup, followed by organic field green salads. Our entrees were cedar plank salmon with vegetables, (My vegetable were slightly over cooked which was reflected in the rating.) Caramelized grilled sea scallops, and Boneless beef short ribs. This was all compiimented by Chocolate peanut butter torte, key lime pie, and Belgian Chocolate S’more. Service can make or break a dining experience and Gani made ours very enjoyable. Worth a stop for lunch or dinner.

Enjoyed the food. Chicken chili was good flavor and nice pieces of chicken. I ordered the boneless short rib, it tasted great but the piece of meat was actually higher up on the chuck and for $27 . ( I know my cuts of meat having helped my father for years in his meat market) it was expensive pot roast. The side of roasted corn was good. My other friends had the trout and salmon which were hit (trout) and miss (overcooked salmon). The concept is great, the execution needs work especially on quality control.

I have been here 3 times and have always been satisfied. I love knowing the calories in the food I am ordering. The portions are reasonable and leave you with enough room for one of their yummy mini desserts. The mushroom bisque soup is outstanding.

Came here last night for a friend’s birthday. The first thing I’ll say is that the decor and ambiance were pretty nice. It had a modern classy vibe that reminded me of Wildfire. Hostesses were friendly and accommodated our homemade cupcakes that we brought in without issues. Now I’m kinda a snob when it comes to brewskis and I was a little disappointed to hear they have only bottles. The selection was limited to about six choices as well. I ended up getting North Coast Pranqster, quality beer btw. The server explained it’s a wine themed place. Ok that’s fine. Here is the issue though. About half way through my first beer the sever puts another one in front of me already poured explaining it looked like I was a little low. I appreciated the concern but that was a little presumptuous. In all the meals I’ve eaten at restaurants having another drink given to me without asking for it was a first and it was really off putting. I probably would’ve gotten one anyway but just ask me first. My friend had the same thing happen as well so this seems like a sneaky policy servers use here, so be advised. The food is all advertised as under 475 calories per menu item. My thought is that if you’re eating at a restaurant you’ve already made the decision that you’re there for an experience not watching calories but it’s an interesting concept none the less. We tried some goat cheese raviolis and stuffed mushrooms as appetizers. They were good, not great. My entree was the pork tenderloin and the wife got steak salad. We both agreed everything seemed kind of bland and basic. My pork was just placed on the plate with a bit of mashed sweet potato and a few green beans. It was cooked properly but I couldn’t help think I could make something similar at home without too much trouble. From the pictures I’ve seen, the presentation of the food is pretty similar no matter what you order. For the prices they are charging, I’d expect just a little more creativity with the flavors and ingredients. I guess that’s the problem when everything on the menu needs to stay under a calorie limit. I was a little underwhelmed overall. The second star is due to the ambiance but food and server tactics left a bad taste in my mouth. Pun intended. euroatheart.com

Very nice place for a business lunch. Trout and salmon were both very good. Plenty of healthy options.

Happy Vegetarian. I loved every minute of this meal! I was a bit nervous when I heard that this place was big on nutrition, I thought it would be bland & boring, far from it! I had the Vegetarian Tasting dish, it was flavorful & very satisfying. For desert I had the Mocha Macchiato, which was a lovely little sweet bite to finish the night. Favorite parts, They have nutrition listed, Food had fantastic flavor in addition to being good for you & the wait staff is super friendly & great atmosphere.
