Fantastic. Love everytime I go. Wish it was closer to my house.
Disappointing, and expensive. We’ve been there twice. Ambiente and service are nice, but the food is mediocre. Most flavorless Red Curry I have ever had; my rice was actually a lump of mush (though they fixed that on request). The Pineapple Fried Rice tasted off. The servings were not generous, either, so $9 for a main course made it pretty pricey. There are much better options nearby: Lai Thai and Sri Siam

Upon returning from a Thailand trip we found our old favorite Chicago Thai places somehow lacked the freshness and delicate balances of flavor we came to love in Thailand… until we discovered Tub Tim Thai in Skokie! There you will find dishes made by a meticulous chef who has crafted the art of Thai cuisine. Savor each bite. Yes the MEANG KUM is outstanding! Also not to miss- THAI CRISPY CREPE. We also recommend the chicken curry puffs, pineapple fried rice, beef salad and green curry. The chef is from northern Thailand (Chiang-Mai) and prepares mouthwatering sticky rice desserts… a specialty of that region. Family owned, wonderful service.
Superb Thai food, in Skokie of all places. For sheer excellent food of the Thai persuasion, it’s hard to surpass Tub Tim Thai. Our favorites are the appetizer Meung Kum (like a party in your mouth), pineapple fried rice and griled scallops. And of course Lard Nar. Two thumbs up for TTT’s food, presentation, ambiance, and great service.
Great food. You have to try there signature app. Meant kim. An explosion of new flavor in every bite. It’s in Skokie so parking is not a problem. Well worth the drive.
