We don’t have Italian beef where we live. So, Portillo’s is a great place for an Italian beef sandwich. We had it dipped twice. When I’m in the Chicago area, I make it a point to have lunch here. I’ve only had the Italian beef sandwich, but everything looks good. This has become a family tradition.
Hidden gem in downtown Skokie. This place is amazing!! Some of the best Thai I’ve had. Very nice place, great service amazing food! I have driven past it many times but never went in because I was slightly discouraged by the scarcity in parking. I decided to finally go and was not disappointed. I will definitely go back!
Yesterday I redeemed my points from Verizon Smart Rewards for the following offer: Coupon Offer: Tub Tim Thai Restaurant 4927 Oakton StSkokie, IL 60077. Enjoy one FREE ENTREE when a second ENTREE of equal or greater value is purchased Up to $12 Maximum Discount. Before I ordered, I asked my waitress if Thai Crispy Crepe is considered an entree. She said yes and that a lot of customers order Thai Crispy Crepe as a meal. My wife ordered a chicken Pad Prik Khing (which is an entree). When I showed my waitress a coupon from my phone (I usually do not physically print out the coupon and never have had any issue with any establishment with this method), she told me I cannot use it because I have to order 2 seafood entrees to be over $12.00 to use it. I explained to her that that is not what the coupon stated so she then called the manager. The manager came to me and stated he cannot honor a coupon from a phone download and he asked for the code which i proceeded to show them the merchant location number. The manager walked back to the counter and walked back to me to finally now saying he refuses to accept the coupon because I did not order 2 entrees even though the waitress have confirmed to me before ordering that Thai Crispy Crepe indeed is an entree. Just want to give a heads up to let everyone know that Tub Tim Thai Restaurant is the type of establishment that may not honor their coupons and therefore I do not recommend them at all. Waitress should take English 101 class in order to understand meaning of the wording on the coupons and explain to customer
