Hands down the best Mexican food in Springfield. I am a Chicago native who has lived in the STL metro area for 4 years of undergrad. Recently moved to Spfld and I have tried numerous places (Xochimilcho, La Bamba and Los Agaves). The food was extremely flavor and hot. I ordered 3 steak tacos and the steak was tender, well marinated and grilled to perfection. I also had a few margaritas and they were well mixed. It was a large crowd on cinco de mayo butbthenstaff did an awesome job. The chef came out and greeted everyone and it was an overall great experience. I will ALWAYS eat here. I could eat those tacos everyday of the week. My boyfriend ordered the Swiss Burrito and said it was good as well. Kudos to Aztca!

I’ve eaten here more than once and the food has never been served the way it is stated on the menu. The last time I was there I order nachos with cheese sauce to go. They gave me chips and salsa. When I went back in to get the order fixed I was told it would be an additional three dollars. The lady wanted to charge me for a whole new order. I was willing to pay the differnce in price but she insisted I had to pay for a whole order since I didn’t check my order in the store. And she refusd to give me my money back on the chips and salsa I took back in.
