Made a reservation, so we were seated quickly. Waiter was nice and the food was good. My husband did enjoy the varies choices of Martinis. It is really pricey, but it was worth it. The restaurant was more modern looking for my liking.
A Very Nice Place. Whenever we visit Springfield we try to make a stop at Bella Milano’s for lunch. The food has always been great and the service as well. Particularly like the Eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant is flash fried, which leaves the interior soft and full of flavor. I really like the tomato sauce, but I can see why some wouldn’t care for it. I like it sweet.
Not worth the wait. We had reservations and still had to wait to be seated. The pasta was cold and the salad was awful (old lettuce).
My wife and I had a very nice meal and enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Salad was awesome, and fresh bread to kick off a wonderful meal. Calamari breading was bit heavy and over done in the fryer.
Very good food. However, don’t let them wrap your leftovers. When you get home, half of them may be missing. It’s happened to me twice! Best question is: who got to eat my spaghetti I started with my cold?! And how do I know my eggplant was MY eggplant? Hmmm.
Not worth the hype. I visited Bella Milano with my mother and aunt. First off, it took a long time for the waitress to come to our table. When she finally did, she couldn’t answer any of our questions regarding the menu. Silly me, I thought the best rated Italian restaurant might make their own pasta! I ordered a pizza which tasted okay but was burnt around edges. My mom had Veal which she rated as okay, but not worth the price. My aunt ordered linguini with clam sauce which she thought was good, but not noteworthy. And we didn’t think the atmosphere was date worthy. Better for casual or family dinners.
The service was fantastic – helpful and attentive. The food was more fantastic. We started with the garlic cheese bread. Then we had the tortellini (the chicken/pork combo in the tortellini is amazing). The spaghetti carbonara was also very good. Two thumbs up!!
