  The waiter was nice but stressed. My drink was ok. My friend wasn’t. She sent it back twice the bar person insisted on her not trying another drink. I order soup got tacos instead. I didn’tt want the tacos. Was place way in back of eatery. Not a diverse. Friendly place. Will never ever eat at this place again. But the waiter wad awesome but he was so stressed.

  Worst nightmare. Horrrrrrrible! The food is ok, close to work but we needed all the extra time since the waitress/service was so slow! Everyone was rude, snobby and acted like our business was an inconvenience. The waitress couldn’t comprehend anyone’s orders and people were always waiting on refills, their food and more! Trying to pay was a nightmare. She couldn’t handle even passing out checks to our table of four! Then to top it off lost a check so had to wait longer for that (don’t even know how that is possible). Finally, my cc was taken to get it returned to me 10 minutes later with a 25% increase to my bill!! Since I didn’t have time to wait for her to figure out how to void and rerun my card I had to accept my overcharge for a horrible experience. Later checked my bank account, yup…there it was, a 2nd charge to my card!!! I called hoping the manager would have some customer service to help with the ridiculous series of events. Refused to answer the calls or return calls…pathetic. Thankfully the bank has basic customer service capabilities to handle such a simple mishap.Overall, the juice is definitely not worth the squeeze here!   It’s changed. We used to think that this was the best Mexican in Springfield. I hope last week’s visit was just a hiccup. They have changed their menu – raised prices alot!Appetizers were not nearly as good and top shelf Margarita lacking.

  Not worth it. Mexican food is one of my favorite cuisines. I’ve gone to Casa Real just one time and that was all I needed. My quesadilla had probably a teaspoon of cheese in it and had only steak strips with no vegetables or anything else. It was dry and flavorless. My friend got the fajitas and she was not at all impressed either. The menu is way overpriced. They don’t have an ala-carte section either where you could just order an individual taco, burrito, etc. I live right down the street from this place and will drive 5 miles further away just to go to Xochimilco which is much more superior in terms of flavor and price.

  Best Mexican food in a long time. Had the El Corporal menu item. Plan to go back and eat that again. Everything good.
