Dissapointed. I just went to Head West Downtown and was very disappointed in the sandwich. I have been going to Head West for a couple of years now and have always raved about their sandwiches. A couple of my co-workers stated recently that their sandwiches have gotten smaller. So today I got my usual #9 and was shocked at how much smaller the sandwich was. Its about half the size it used to be. Very disappointed in Head West, might be time to find a new sub shop.

Piper Glen Head West Never Disappoints!. I visit the Head West at Piper Glen about once a week –usually between work and classes @ LLCC. I have never been disappointed! The employees are friendly and welcoming (always glad to see me again), and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. If you get bored with the menu, they will be glad to prepare a custom made sandwich–so get creative!! There is also plenty of seating if you like to dine in. What can I say? This store is the best Head West location–hands down! Keep up the great work everyone.
Stop the negativity. I noticed on here so far there has only been negative reviews, I go in there at least once a week with my kid. Every time we have been in there be it day or night, and everyone has been very friendly and has always made good suggestions about making a better sub or trying different combinations of stuff. Even when I have went in there and it has been packed they still make the time to make me and my son feel special and like we are the only customers in there. One thing I have always liked is that my son is a bit indecisive about what he wants yet they always seem happy and never frustrated about how he is taking his times deciding, all in all I will keep going back as long as they are open because the food is amazing and the staff is equally great I would definitely recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried them yet.
Customer service, LGBT group not treated respectfully. Great food, absolutely amazing in the past, and fairly friendly staff however what I believed to be a manager perhaps (bearded man, very gruff looking) happen to be behaving very rudely to the other staff that waited on us about some other workers schedule or something and swore ALOT in-front of the customers and was also very rude to my friends and I, and made several comments at us that could be taken as specifically homophobic targeting (yes we are gay/bi/pan/and a straight ally but we don’t flaunt it like a parade or anything to be blunt, which makes his behavior even stranger, cause hand holding should not be offensive coming from 2 of my male friends to anyone, its JUST hand holding) and his tone of voice was certainly VERY aggressive, needless to say we don’t feel entirely welcome at this particular shop anymore, we’ll still stop by the one on Toronto rd by our college from time to time about once a month but overall this last interaction at the Chatham location by our homes has cost them a loss of business from all 6 of us.
Sandwichs were great..but I would suggest picking up food because orders will be wrong. Staff is very rude. Some customer service classes would go along way!
