I ordered two eggs over medium, hash browns, wheat toast dry, and coffee. I got runny eggs, I mean runny the whites were still clear around the yolks. That alone ruined my breakfast. The toast was covered in margarine to top that it was white bread. I got one and a half cups of coffee. My inept waitress set a carafe on the table that had one and a half cups in it. She never came back to my table, dropping the check with the food because as she stated she was swamped that morning.(At least half of the tables where empty) I just didn’t have the time or patience to explain it to a manager and certainly didn’t get a chance to tell my server about it as she was absent for the duration of my under cooked, poorly prepared meal. I just paid for it and went to work. What a disappointment.I would like anyone to explain why a line cook cannot cook an egg over medium it seems to be a real challenge for the restaurants I’ve been going to lately.
IHOP on Stevenson. The restaurant is comfortable and the service is good. But I am not at all fond of their omelets. Unfortunately, they put the fillings, including the cheese, on top of the omelet, rather than in the middle, resulting in very dry omelets.
