Look. Certain restaurants are good for certain things! Don’t come to a brick oven pizza place and order a steak! Order a pizza! Which is what makes Lake Pointe Grill great! Yeah they offer other things every restaurant does, but if your a foodie to know what places for types of food! I LOVE this place for their pizza!
Not Bad, Bud Not Good. First time; at lunch; busy place; had the Gumbo at $14. Lots of shrimp, andouille sausage, okra, over rice; but the the sauce was absolutely tasteless. No seasoning what so ever. They really need to fix that. The house chardonnay was very simple. It tasted like cheap wine. On the whole, a disappointment.My wife had the oven roasted beef stew and she really liked it. Lots of big chunks of beef in a good sauce…so, she was pleased.Compared to finer restaurants in Springfield, Lake Pointe Grill is overpriced for the quality of the food, plus the portion sizes are too much.
Skip It. Substandard food and service. Not impressed with the owners/management. Had a private party at their now defunct ( not surprising ) Sebastian’s. They charged high end prices for an appalling presentation. They did not even bother to clean the place properly. When I tried to contact them to provide feedback and to get some explanation for the very poor service, they did not bother to get back to me. They lost 40+ future customers that night. Will never again step near any business run by these owners. They should be mortified.
Excellent restaurant!. My daughter moved to this area this year and this little gem of a restaurant happens to be practically next door. Every time I visit I must go here. Love the unique menu, the staff is very friendly and the food is phenomenal! Love it. There are so many things I want to try, I must get back more often!!

Good Service, Good Food. Really love the pizza here, made fresh, fresh ingredients, home made dough. Very tasty. The pizza is so good, I can’t get past ordering it every time I go there to try other great foods from their kitchen. Will give it a try soon, the linguine looks very appetizing….will go back.
Love Lake Pointe!. This restaurant is a great place to visit for well known favorites as well as some unique items that you will only find at Lake Pointe. There is truly something for everyone. A few of my favorites include the tomato basil soup, caesar salad with chicken, and the margherita pizza which I dip generously in olive oil. I’ve also tried their rich and savory lasagna which was also incredible. There are many other choices I’d like to indulge myself in, in the future. I’ve also tried a few of their martinis and was not disappointed. A must try for locals and visiters! Just get there early as it tends to stay consistently busy and come hungry becuase the portions sizes are very generous!
