Pizza. Ham and cheese pizza
Variety. Mario’s has a menu with a pretty wide selection of food with varying prices, including an Italian horseshoe which (to me) is a somewhat unique item. My husband ordered the horseshoe with meatballs and it looked tasty.I ordered the seafood lasagna, and for the price, it was a hearty portion and served in a bowl to contain all the sauce, which was plentiful enough to dip the bread in and still have enough to make my meal enjoyable. The house salad was a good size too.The waitress was fast, friendly and polite, took good care of our party of 9, our food we served quickly, our drinks were promptly refilled.it was a good dining experience (first time there) and I would absolutely return. My only real complaint is the restroom. I had to change my newborn, and while there was a changing table available, it was very cramped in the small bathroom, and the stall door wouldn’t stay open, so it continuously hit me. In all though, it was a good first visit.
I hadn’t been here since 2000. When I was there then, I had a meatball sandwich and it was delicious. We just ate here last night and I was anxious to try their pizza. I am a pizza lover. This was, by far, one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. Between myself and my 14 yr old granddaughter, we ate 2 pieces. The crust was absolutely awful. It was like a frozen one (I’ve had better frozen, in fact). I had to throw every kind of seasoning available on it because it lacked any flavor. It was dripping with grease all over the table and I had to keep grabbing napkins from surrounding tables. My granddaughter ended up also ordering a bacon cheeseburger. She enjoyed that. I noticed some waitresses sitting at the bar yakking with the male cashier and that was pretty unprofessional. The only saving grace here was that the waitress was so attentive and kind and we tipped her accordingly.
The lunch buffet for $9 counting tax and a drink is a great deal. Buffet had pizza, soup, 3 types of salads, spaghetti, and nachos. The Italian salad was very good as was the chicken-bacon-alfredo pizza.
