Food is ok not great. I’ve ordered entrees to be prepared without an ingredient I’m allergic to- rarely is it done correctly. They offer to remake it but never offer to give even a little money back even though I’ve had to make two trips when it’s take out.
Great food, but poor service. This is the second time I’ve been here and received a waiter who only came back to check on me when either dropping off my food or ticket. I’ll order to go next time.
I love the fact that people are complaining about their wait time here…go cry me a river. If you want fast food, go to McDonald’s…the food here is worth the wait. Service is worth the wait.
Charged twice for one meal. My wife and two small children enjoyed a late night dinner that ended up costing us twice the bill. No, this is not a joke or misprint. Ten minutes after handing the server a $50 gift certificate (an Anniversary gift), I went to the register to locate my change. The staff of three informed me that they were unable to find the gift certificate in their computer and it would be a few minutes. Five to ten minutes later, I returned to the register and learned that the 27-day old gift certificate had a zero balance according to their computer. Mind you, the server never returned to the table throughout this ordeal. I informed the manager that we would not return to Mimosa and paid with cash. My family can assure you this was our first and last visit to Mimosa.
Nice atmosphere, diverse menu, terrible service. My husband got his meal 20 minutes before I did (I had sushi, he had a hot meal). Our server only checked in once. We waited 10 minutes for the server to take our card to pay the bill. Finally had to summon another table’s server, who took care of it. We will go to Osaka from now on- better food, better service.
Great New Restaurant!. My hubby and I went for lunch to try out this new place. The dcor inside is beautiful and modern with sleek lines and natural stone. The menu seems to be a combination of Asian Cuisine with a lot of fresh Sushi choices, Thai dishes and the ever-popular Fried Rice. My husband ordered his Thai favorite of Basil Pork and I ordered my favorite of Chicken Pad Thai. The dishes tasted great with fresh, quality ingredients! My noodles were a bit too al dente, but that is my only complaint. I made sure to grab a take-out menu because this is my favorite Asian restaurant!
Waited over 30 min for sushi, while I watched the 2 tables seated after me enjoy hot meals. Server never offered to refill water glass. Sure it’s busy on a Friday night, but I hadn’t planned on being here an hour to encounter the dinner rush. The menu has some unique offerings, but on the whole has pages and pages of Caucasian friendly classics. If it’s up to me, next time I’ll stick with a less expensive and equally tasty take-out dinner from China Star.
