Los Angeles Tourists. Food was delicious. Only 4 tables by the window total and not allotted first come, first served. They remained unoccupied but reserved for locals while we dined by the kitchen. If you want a peek out the window, you’ll have to specify in the reservation request you’ll only accept a window seating.

Subpar Service. Unfortunately my dining experience was subpar. The reasons for the disappointment include:Cons:1. We arrived early for the first reservation to find the restaurant very open with few customers seated. We were seated in a four top table in an open restaurant furthest away from the views and next to the entrance where server traffic was flowing rampantly and to a point that was uncomfortable (please note that window seats were open). When I asked if we could sit next to the window for a better view and away from the flow of traffic, the (not sure of her position but I would assume she was the head waitress) Denise insisted that this was not possible. Her reasoning was that was just not allowed. No further explanation. We asked how a person could have a window seat and she noted that window seats are not guaranteed and that if we even requested prior to arriving that the seats would not be guaranteed. But she insistently apologized throughout the dinner and noted that she would add the preference for a window seat on my profile but could not guarantee a window seat. Does that seem odd? I am still confused by her inept ability to provide us with proper seating…2. The water tasted like stale tap water with a slight after taste, the hollandaise for the asparagus was not hollandaise, this mystery sauce was a cream sauce with a butter taste, and the lobster was chewy. 3. The waiter did not ask once how the food was, we felt ignored4. The buser had constantly asked us multiple times if we were finished and we felt rushed with the meals.Pros:1. Steak was cooked perfectly.Unfortunately we had a horrible experience at this restaurant and would not recommend it. We felt like second rate customers.

Best meal ever in Springfield. We had the pleasure of dining at Nick and Nino’s on 2/8/13 and couldn’t be more pleased. We arrived a litle early but were seated immediately. The setting was very nice, spacious but intimate in feeling. Our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. The food was exceptional, and the chef came out to make sure we were satisfied. The wine was very reasonably priced, and the selection was very good. All in all, this was the best dining experience I’ve ever had in Springfield. It was a little expensive, but well worth the money. I’ll definitely go back.

Wonderful. The atmosphere and service at Nick and Nino’s are just unbeatable. The prices are high, so I’d only go on special occasions but it’s quite an experience! I went with a group of ten co-workers and they accomendated our group quite well. I have to say that I have never gotten better service in my life, the waiters are so helpful and friendly and make you feel right at home. I also love the unique menu, we tried three appetizers, the firecracker shrimp, eggrolls, and the calamari. They were all delicious but the firecracker shrimp was by far the best! Everyone I was with ordered steak and I ordered the pasta, which was ok, but I wish I would have tried the lobster tails! Everyone loved their steaks and I would definitely love to go back!

If you want a high end meal in Springfield this is it! Food was amazing. Allow at least 2 hours for dinner, trust me there’s no rushing the process.
