From out of town, stayed in the area for a month. Visited about 2 weeks after I got here and it’s become one of my favorite places of all time! The lamb meat loaf is out of this world, strawberry bruschetta is hard to beat and the Upside Brown Coffee Ale is a MUST if you like coffee! Great experience each time I’ve visited (which has been almost every other day since my first visit).
Visited recently with a party of four and found the service to be fast and pretty friendly in a beautiful historic home. The food was mediocre at best–fish and chips was subpar and greasy, and the Scotch eggs were hard and overcooked. One in our party got the Caprese flatbread that was very nice. Beer was hoppy and fruity and just not my thing.
