Terrible experience. My husband and I were in Springfield visiting my mom in the hospital, and all we wanted was a little break to grab a beer and watch a game. Pier 55 was close to our hotel, so we stopped in. I am not picky about bars, but this place did not deliver a good experience. The bartender was incredibly rude. I sat for at least 45 minutes waiting for a beer because she was too busy with the regulars and would not even look at me, even though she passed by a number of times. When we decided to give up and ask for the check, she continued to ignore us. The whole experience was quite unpleasant. Fortunately, there are other places nearby that are much better.
