Just as they advertise, comfort style cooking in a Wisconsin style setting. Always a good meal and a good value. They also have a great collection of traditional and craft beers to choose from.
Nothing But Perfect Across The Board. I have been going to Northwoods in Crete since they opened 15 years ago. I have never, absolutely Never had anything but great food and service in all that time. The owner (a native of Wisconsin) or another family member is always on hand to make sure everyone has a great experience. The decor is like a Wisconsin Lodge with a fireplace in the center of the dining room. Very cozy and comfortable ambiance. As I said all their menu items are great, reasonably priced and amply portioned. It truly feels like being on vacation there.
