If there is something which needs to be lauded about Golden Kitchen, its the consistency of regularly making my fav chicken fried rice the same almost each day when I visit them, and yes, the smaller portion inclusive of taxes just costs me 4.30 USD,Also to go for is the General Tso, Diced Chicken in Hot Sauce and Hunan Chicken, my tried ones.And the making is in a jiffy, just takes not more than 5 minutes to turn out for my regular to-go.

We ordered from Golden Kitchen tonight for dinner and received the worst food delivery I have ever experienced!Once I opened the bag it looked like someone took all our food, and ran it through a paint mixer machine! The tops weren’t on securely and all the sauce and some of the food was out all over the bag…….We were able to salvage some of the food left in the containers, but most of it had no sauce……it’s just plain rude and disrespectful to deliver & offer food like this!!! I would be too embarrassed to hand something like that to someone, let alone serve it!!!The good folks at grub hub tried to get a hold them right after, but no one answered the phone…..I do not understand how it’s acceptable to represent a business like this. I am appalled!!!!I would highly recommend to stay away from this place. I will not purchase anything from Golden Kitchen ever again. Bad business practices…..
Not good. The service is good and owner? actually spoke english very well. Unfortunately, the food was simply not good. It wasn’t terrible but hardly average and the portion was very small and I bought the large for 2 dollars extra and it was very small. Still looking for a good chinese place in lake county (vernon hills/mundelein) area
Great food. I enjoy an establishment that is consistent withhigh quality food. This is one, The interior is nothing fancy, plain and boring but the food is well worth the trip. If there is something you want and don’t see it on the menu, just ask. They have not disappointed me yet.
BEST takeout – feels home made. Our new favorite local takeout. Quality wins hands down over Red Lantern and Hunan Palace. Pot stickers are obviously home made – someone is standing back there in the kitchen rolling that dough. Sweet sour soup seems home made too (not from some factory vat several days old). Dining room is clean and inviting.
