Love The Cuban Sandwich. I enjoyed the Cuban sandwich here. Very authentic, It came with lots of ham,sliced pork, mustard, Swiss cheese , Sliced pickles, and Cuban Bread. Other places in Chicago serve the sandwich with Gonella or Turano French Bread and only use Ham and forget about the sliced pork. Along with my sandwich came a side of black beans and white rice( I believe only at lunchtime).
Not the best by far.. Visited Friday after work. Black beans lacked the authentic flavor and they were kind of wateried. Ropa vieja was a disaster. The meat was undercooked and not aged. The steak empanisado was just average. The service was just OK.
