So, I finally went to Village Pizza (I’ve lived a couple blocks away for almost a year) and it was pretty bad. I wasn’t expecting it to be great because I’ve read the reviews but I always am looking for good NY slices. I didn’t find them. The dough was sort of sweet and dense. Not light, crispy and bubbly like it should be. There wasn’t enough sauce and there was too much cheese. They didn’t heat up the slices which had been sitting there for who knows how long. The slices are enormous and there was a lot left over and I almost threw it out instead of saving it. The only reason why I ended up putting it in the fridge is because my boyfriend will put anything in his face and I figured I’d save it for him. The only (slightly) positive thing I can say is, Village Pizza is not the worst pizza I’ve had.
