This place tends to be a little more pricey than your standard breakfast places. You’re kind of paying more for the overall aesthetic of the place than for great food. I recommend stopping by if only to view what I assume to be the best collection of Ron Swanson paintings in Chicago. Then order all of the bacon and eggs they have.
Went to Whisk today for a nice little breakfast. My fiance works nights so when she gets off we like to try different places to grab a bite. Whisk is great because the open at 7 which is very convenient. She had the Ukrainian scramble which was decent but a little boring. The eggs tasted good with the cream cheese but still a little lacking. I ordered the steak and eggs which I absolutely enjoyed the steak. It’s an 8oz ribeye that was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had great flavor. They are byob so I recommend stopping at the Mariano’s across the street an grabbing some champagne for mimosas. Lastly don’t forget to try the jelly it is amazing!!!
