  Wonderful staff, wonderful food!. After anticipating our dinner at acclaimed Vie restaurant for quite a while, we arrived to find they had a partial power outage! They were unable to prepare the one dish we anticipated most: the wood fired burger, rated the 6th best burger in the nation. Still, chef Virant agreed to make a seared version of his famous dish, and there were plenty of other delectable dishes to choose from…That’s when ALL the lights went out, and it became apparent we would not be dining at Vie that night. Chef Virant, though, saved our evening, sending us over to nearby Vistro. There, we enjoyed the dry aged burger accompanied by Virant’s yummy pickled peas, and surf and turf lid ears. Desserts were the to-die-for Varhonna dark chocolate cake and the apple sticky pudding. The homemade soft serve ice cream, with Varhonna pearls was also delicious . Many thanks to Chef Virant, and Lucas at Vistro for saving our evening! We’ll be back!

  One of the best restaurants in the Chicago area. Beautiful, simple, elegant dining with seasonal items. Highly recommended!

  Susie. This resturant was amazing! One of the best meals I have had in years. Would HIGHLY recommend Vie.

  Probably the western suburbs–along with Courtrights- finest restaurant. High class interior and menu. First rate!
