Great fresh food. We have never been disappointed in the taste and value of their food. Thanks for that. If you want speed and no home town flavor you won’t enjoy this……………..it is Auburn at it’s best. Thanks.

The food here is pretty good but on two seperate occasions we tried to eat here and we were turned away. Once on a Friday night at 7 pm, and the second and most recent on a Wednesday night at 6:30. Both times the owner/hostess informed us they were closing. Two tables were seated inside (clearly not filled to capacity). We WONT be back. If you post hours of operation, be open those hours. Very frustrated with this place.
My parents eat here on a weekly basis and whenever I am home, I go with them. I have never had a bad meal there. Their house salad with raspberry dressing is delicious and their baked mostaccioli is the best I’ve ever had. Everything I try here is very good. The service is great and very welcoming. They always try to make room for us when we call. Altogether, this is the most flavorful restaurant in Auburn, and one of my favorite restaurants anywhere!
Tracy-shaw… The same thing happened to my husband and I. We drove up from Fort Wayne for our anniversary. We ordered a bottle of wine and several dinner courses. We were there to have a dining experience. The owners were so anxious to get us out of there, they served us two courses at the same time. While we were well within their published hours, we were uncomfortable about their hovering over and rushing us. We quickly gobbled our food and paid our bill. The owners met us at the door and we heard the door lock behind us. I don’t even remember if the food was good. Needless to say, we won’t be back.
Just so so. I had heard how good there were, so after living in Auburn for 5 years I finally tried it. I was told it was really expensive, but I didn’t think so. However, its build up let me to think it was exceptional, and I didn’t find it any better than Fazzoli’s, which is nominal at most. I prefer Casa anyday
A great meal everytime. Sandra D’s is one of the area’s best dining experiences. I admit that my wife and I are addicted, each visit is chance to sample wonderful food. The chef obviously works very hard to create outstanding choices whether choosing something from the menu or the nightly special. I can’t say that we have ever had anything that wasn’t excellent here.We have dined in shorts and sandels and also in suit and tie and we are always treated well and never felt ignored. Maybe my idea of romantic is more about the person I am with and the food we are sharing.Sandra D’s has so many wonderful pluses, I try to eat something new with each visit and am never disappointed. But every visit also starts with the best house salad and breadstick.
