Wow!! What an unfortunate decline in food quality. The wait staff was very courtiuos and prompt. All of the food was bland and lacking flavor. The tripas on the tacos were not cleaned properly and full of fat. Salsa for the chips lacked flavor, beans tasted like bean water, rice was also flavorless.Past experiences have always been good and the food was full of flavor.
I love love love this place!! My grandmother and I are in here at least once a week for lunch! We always get the same thing, chicken quesadillas! I can’t even begin to describe how delicious they are!!! The price can’t be beat $7.99 for the biggest cheesiest quesadilla you will ever eat, drink included! The chips are amazing and they have a total salsa bar!! And then there is the cheese dip, omg! The place is always clean the bathrooms are spotless and the service is great! I would recommend this place to anyone!!
Tuesday $1 tacos are great. When you come in, you order what you want at the counter, the people who work there are very nice and they walk you through how they do things in that place, it’s a mix of Chipotle and a Salsa buffet, if I may dare to compare. You sit down and put your receipt with the number showing. They bring your food when it’s ready. You can take your plate/basket to the salsa bar, and add all the sauces and toppings that you want to add.Love their ground beef tacos, recommended for the not so adventurous ones. Love their guacamole, wish that they come and refill your chips though seems like it’s never enough. Love their Crispy fried fish al Ajo. yummo! Their chicken quesadilla is sooo good, even my 10 year old who doesn’t really care for quesadilla, that’s what he orders when we go. I do find their refried beans too salty. No one in my family seems to eat it either. And who can forget their Tripa taco. It’s never a $1 for the taco Tuesdays but I don’t care. I order it and tell them I want it extra crispy, I add cilantro, their pickled onion, spritz a little lime juice and a tiny drizzle of the salsa verde sauce, and I AM IN HEAVEN. (warning if you don’t know what tripa is then do a little research first haha)They have punch cards, they only punch for a meal and not appetizers or the $1 tacos, but for a stingy saver like me, I think it’s great that they offer it.Adrian the owner is very nice. You can talk to him about catering too! We’ve ordered from there before and everybody liked the food.
