Won’t respond!. Our wedding is in May and we booked her the previous fall with a deposit. I tried contacting her 8 weeks before the wedding to figure out how she wanted to be paid. I tried calling the 2 phone numbers she provided, emails, texts, and Facebook and heard NOTHING over 3 weeks. I am now scrambling to find someone on else in less than 5 weeks! She also never responded to my friend who is also getting married this summer. Do NOT go with her.
Design artist AND delicious!. I have had four cakes from Cake Designs by Janie in the part year. I never expected to find an artist and baker of this caliber in a home shop in Bedford, but Janie has exceeded my expectations each time. She made a tiered cake from an internet design I brought to her that actually surpassed the original! And, she took a design my grand kids created on Minecraft and absolutely nailed it! Her chocolate obsession cake is aptly named–yum! I had never seen an oval cake, but she made a two-layer one, decorated with brilliant fall leaves that looked as though they had fallen off trees in the Hoosier National Forest. Her prices can’t be beat. She has become our family’s favorite cake maker, hands down.

We ordered a 3 tier wedding cake with the bottom tier being square then the other two being round. with cali lillies and greenery around the cake with ribbon along the bottom. it was suppose to be red velvet with buttercream icing. When she brought it all 3 tiers were round there was NO greenery the ribbon looked like she was drunk when she did it or her 2 year old grand son did it. THE RED VELVET WAS CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH RED FOOD COLORING SHE RIPPED US OFF AND I HOPE SHE NEVER GETS TO RUIN ANOTHER CAKE AGAIN SHES A JOKE!!!!!! I COULD HAVE MADE A CAKE 10 TIMES BETTER THAN THAT COW!!!!
