Went for a late lunch and was disappointed with the slow service and average food.
I had the misfortune of eating Smokin Jim’s B.B.Q. at the Midwest Trail Ride this past weekend. Bad sauce, dry chicken, burnt beans, just over all bad food.
I got the lunch special hoping it would compare to my favorite BBQ place in town. I was sadly mistaken!!! They brought out my nachos it was smaller than a dessert plate and when I asked for sour cream they took away my side or I had to pay! Food was decent but nothing special.
Pulled Pork Nachos. The nachos are SOOOO delicious!!!!! Lots of meat and cheese! The grilled cheese with BBQ on it is outstanding. the french fries are incredible. The BBQ chicken breast is superb. The place is clean, love the atmosphere, and the waitresses are friendly. I will definitely go back.
Good bbq. I didn’t even know this place was here until I met someone for lunch. I had a brisket sandwich with mac and cheese, also some boneless wings. Everything was good. They had several bbq sauces to choose from, I’m not sure what it was called but the sweet and spicy one was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and the food came out fast. I’ll definitely eat here again!
Great food!. Portions are large, food is great! I end up ordering Jr. sizes of everything, because the regular size is so much more than I can eat in one setting.
Smokin Jims B.B.Q.. This is a B.B.Q. joint. The restaurant is not fancy but clean. The and portions are large. The sauces are home made and wonderful. If you and like good food of this type I would highly recommend. I will diffidently go back.
