Good breakfast. The breakfast is always good and so is the coffee.
HOME!!!. I frequent Peggy Sue’s Diner on a regular basis. The staff is ultra friendly and they make me feel welcome. It’s like going home for a home cooked meal and good company. The soups are probably the best I have ever had. Especially the chicken noodle and the stuffed green pepper soup. The coffee.. I like the coffee there more than Starbucks, McDonald’s or anywhere else. Always a good laugh and relaxing atmosphere.
Killer Breakfast at Peggy Sues!. Great breakfast!!! If youre the type who likes the trucker-style greasy spoon, -meat and potatoes style- breakfast (that can cure any hangover out there!), fuel you up for surviving the lake-effect winters of NW Indiana, and is open early enough to still give you the rest of the day to plow the back 40, then Peggy Sues diner is the spot to hit in Chesterton. Local flavor, down to earth waitstaff, and friendly faces surround you. Its easy to feel like family once inside. Make no mistake, this is a local owned hole-in-the-wall type business, but the payoff is certainly the food! Enjoy!
