My favorite little spot. Red Cup has long since been my place of choice for grabbing a quick, and healthy lunch. Their organic and vegetarian friendly choices are reasonably priced, and outrageously delicious. I recommend this place to everyone in the Chesterton area.
The staff at this place are so rude it’s almost like they’re trained to be rude to customers. The coffee tastes like Folger’s and is way overpriced. The food is unhealthy and tastes microwaved. The owner needs to cater to people other than her friends. It feels like going to a person’s house and being unwelcome.
This cafe has really gone downhill. It seems they are understaffed and I believe that the owner’s presence during peak lunch hours would help things. I have received incorrect orders and rude service. Also, the prices are way too high for a cafe/deli in Chesterton. Love it!. Red Cup Cafe & Deli rocks! Not only is the food excellent, but the ambiance resembles a small Chicago cafe.The owner has done an outstanding job of providing outstanding food in a warm environment. The sandwiches, soups, desserts are wonderful. But, my favorite are the cabbage rolls and stuffed peppers! Keep up the good work Krissy!
Hometown Happiness!!. To say that I love the Red Cup Cafe & Deli would be an understatement. I think the fact that it is owned by a gal that was born and raised here in Chesterton only makes the food taste better! There have been many foods like hummus and cous cous that I have never cared for…until Krissy Jackson put her spin on them! The eclectic atmosphere is very comfy! Red Cup is more than just a place to eat…it’s a place where you and your friends can gather! It is also wonderful to know that Krissy is also dedicated to helping the Duneland community grow. It is awesome to walk in and see groups of people talking about the town of Chesterton and what is next on the community’s agenda! Her sandwiches are yummy, the soups are great comfort food, and her cookies top off the whole dining experience! Come for the food…stay for the company!
Organic coffee is delicious. Great sandwiches, paninis, homemade soups, veggie chips, homemade cookies & brownies. Big smiles, efficient , friendly service. Small place seats a dozen or so but cozy. Owner Kelly also caters. Wish they had more organic items, not just coffee.
Jenny Magoo. Red Cup has the best sandwiches in Town. The owner has really filled a niche in Chesterton! The vegetable chips are my favorite and the cookies are to die for! Red Cup offers alternatives such as soup and quiche, and the coffee corner is a cafeine fiend’s heaven on earth!!
