Burger was great beer was bad.. Ordered the 12 pound burger with egg. I really enjoyed it. However I had the Red IPA along with it and was shocked by the taste. Bad very obvious fermentation off flavors in the beer. My wife ordered the porter and those flavors were there is well. Beer was probably fermented too warm. Could be a freak occurrence.
Mediocre. This was the second time we ate here and we will not be back again. Tonight we got 3 orders of pasta. 2 marinara and 1 Alfredo. The pasta was overlooked, the red sauce watery. The white sauce too heavy and thick, very much like glue. Honestly canned sauce is much better! The first time we had a calazone and pizza. Both looked good on the outside but were undercooked on the inside. The only thing I will recommend is the beer list. But seriously, I can cook better at home and my husband will just have to stop at the liquor store!
Maangment is failing you. My husband and I asked to speak to the manager the night we were there to tell them how good our service was. He informed us there must have been a mistake. he was a complete a**hole. This put a very bad taste in our mouths and we will never suggest this place to anyone. A suggestion to any hire ups if there are any fire the young dick and have a good restaurant. Management is key to success and this place does not have it. I dont see it up much longer with changes. Good luck from a fellow restaurant owner.New Albany.
Good service. however, I tried thr house brown ale and it tasted stale. Also got the calzone and the insides were raw and the outside was almost burnt.
Just okay. We have tried this place three times all resulting in a just okay rating. The food is mediocre. The beer brewed on-premise is okay but nothing outstanding. The service and atmosphere are good. In all fairness, we have not tried the pizza which did look appetizing. You can get the same fare anywhere else.
Not horrible, but not great. We have been here twice, once was for lunch and once was for dinner. We love to support local places as much as possible so I usually give them more of a chance than I would a chain. This place is not horrible, but it’s nothing to write home about. The chicken was ok on my chicken sandwich, but a little on the dry side. The Service is great though! Very friendly! May give it one more chance being as it is a local place and not a chain, but I really haven’t even heard from anyone of anything that is great to eat here. I’m a foodie so I need something that sort of knocks my socks off!!
