Didn’t get what was promised. I recently came into the bakery becasue I wanted to have a cake made for my sons birthday. I took in a picture of the cake I want and asked how much would it cost to make that cake. I was told the price and agreeded to have them make it. When my husband sent me a picture of what the cake looked like it noticed right away that that wasn’t what I wanted. So I emailed the Renee to let her know and proceeded to tell me that I was taking advantage of her and that because I used a gift card for part of the payment that I should not be so upset. I am very displeased with the response of Renee and to make matters worse Renee told me she would refund me $59 but in the end only refunded me $39. Once again she didn’t do what she said she would.
Blamed for Cake Melting!. Let me start by saying I hardly ever write reviews online unless something was either terribly wrong or outstandingly delicious. Unfortunately, something was TERRIBLY wrong. We purchased a cake from the store and picked it up on Saturday for a Birthday on Sunday. Sunday when we went to get the cake out to sing Happy Birthday, the entire side of the cake had melted off AND the lettering had bled into the white frosting. Things happen and I understand. But the real problem occurred when I contacted the owner of the store. She would not help in ANY way and placed the blame on us stating the cake wasn’t meant to be stored overnight. This is absurd. Never was it mentioned that the cake needed to be served and eaten that very same day otherwise it would be completely melted and ruined. This was the very first time we ordered a cake from this place and surely it will be the last. It’s unfortunate when the owner of a business doesn’t value their customers. I hope if you are reading this review and considering ordering from there, consideration is taken into account for the chance your product is not right, no returns, no refunds, no responsibility taken for poor quality.
