Service was horrible. I’ve been going to Gino’s since it was in Illinois and the last 2 times I have been there the service was substandard, the last time there (tonight) my wife and I left the establishment before ordering dinner. A table of six and a table of four both came I n after us and at that time, we were completely ignored. The bread didnt even make it to our table, but rest assured, the other parties had bread. We were still waiting to order dinner, lo and behold, the other 2 parties orders were in. The only thing we ordered was stuffed mushrooms and we were out before they made it to the table. Shame on you Gino’s for the horrible service.
We loved this place. Don’t know what peoples expectations are but we thought menus was good and food and service great. The bell peppers they serve all were incredible. Wedge salad was fantastic as was the chicken artichoke and squash soup. We are traveling thru area and here for one night. Wish it was in our neighborhood

Excellent. Best steaks in the area. Liked the salads; and double-baked potato. The bread could be improved. New york strip is fantastic.
Service was great and everything was good right up to the surf and turf. Lobster tail was sent back as we couldn’t cut through it with a steak knife. Waitress said it would take 15 minutes to re cook one. Ding ding ding, that’s the problem 15 minutes overlooks the tail. Second ones came out and 1 was ok other was worse. Steer clear of lobster
Right atmosphere, wrong outcome.. Love the atmosphere, the staff is friendly but haven’t loved the food. My spouse and I have eaten there 5 times for different occasions, and only once could we say the food was good. Don’t waste you’re money here; take a trip to Chicago and enjoy atmosphere and good food!
Jealousy! You want everything that they have! GREAT FOOD, SERVICE AND A SUPERB DINING EXPERIENCE!. This first message is for the gentleman who said they had to wait an extremely long time to be seated because reservations were required. It is obvious that your story is not true because reservations are NOT REQUIRED.We go in for all of our special holidays, Birthday, Anniversaries, Valentine’s Day etc. If it’s a day like Valentine’s Day where reservations are recommended (required), they would still put you on a list in case someone else did not show up for their reservation. You obviously are lying about the experience, if it even really happened. Oh, and P.S. You’re favorite joint Svago, closed down so that says a lot about your taste.To the wanna-be man who says their steaks are frozen, and not prime, why don’t you hang out for a while and see the delivery trucks that go in and out of there. I work across the way and see with my own eyes that this mom and pop restaurant buy only the best of the best for all of their products. If you can’t tell the difference between a frozen steak and a PRIME steak you should cleanse your pallet with some sorbet. You should both be ashamed of yourselves for having nothing better to do with your time than put down wonderful restaurants in our lovely neighborhood. Live, Laugh, Love, and get a real hobby!
