Good place to pick up breakfast to go but the last time I was there to sit in and eat, the manager was being very rude to employees. The argument created an atmosphere that caused up to get up and leave our meal. Very angry atmosphere. Upon paying and leaving, the manager now had another employee outside in tent area telling him off – every word could be heard all the way to the car.

Two different worlds of Jellys, Merrillville and Dyer. Dyer wins! Hard to see from Rte 30. It is in the back of a strip mall. Look for there van street side. Interesting menu items. Try the PBJ tots as your side. Unusual to say the least. Great combo of ingredients. Pumpkin Loaf French Toast was delightful with its cream cheese filling. Nice atmosphere with well trained wait staff.

Jelly is your run of the mill breakfast place. There is nothing that would make them stand out in comparison to another breakfast restaurant. The server seemed like she was in a total rush. I got the French toast, and it was just average. At least they have outdoor seating, if that appeals to you. They also serve alcohol for breakfast.

I Love This Place. A few of my friends and I get together here every couple of weeks. The service is always great, and the food is always wonderful! The staff is attentive and friendly. We’ve ordered everything from breakfast, sandwiches and cocktails and never been disappointed with any dish. I can’t say the same for the Merrillville location. Our first experience there was terrible, and since, we just make the drive into Dyer. A little out of our way, but well worth it.
