Best Food Ever. I just ate there lastnight with my sister OMG! The best food that I ever had we started out with the warm fresh baked bread that they give everyone aaNd we dipped it in the olive oil with seasonings with just a hint of vinegar the bread alone was great. Then we got the Pinturicchio Bruschette for the appetizer all a can say is yummy in my tummy. We had a choice of the soup or salad with our meal we both chosed the salad because I am allergic to shellfish and the soup of the day was lobester bisque. The salad was very fresh and lite and I really no my salads because I have been leaving on them lately. I have been really working hard the last month to loose weight and eat much healthier. I have lost 17 pounds in the lastmonth just from really watching what I eat sunce I found out that a was on the highest possibile level of being pre-diabetic. That really scared me so I made a instead change to my lifestyle watching everthing that I eat and walking an hour everyday. My sister and I both ordered the Pasta Fantasia which features Chef Tony’s three signature items lasagna, saccottino & spinach artichoke ravioli. OMG everything was so delecious when Chef Tony came by are table and asked us what our favorite was both my sister & I could not really say because everything was just that good. We had two deserts the both were to die for. This is the only place that I have ever wrote a review for and it really was the best food from start to finish that everything was just to die for. It was well worth the trip because I drove out from Pingree Grove, Illinois. Chief Tony and the waitstaff really make you feel that you are part of their family.OMG LIVE A LIITTLE AND TRY THIS PLACE!
Not worth it. Do not waste your time at Svagati. The quality of ingredients and food preparation is average to below average. Paying $26 for a meal is outrageous for meat which is tough, not seasoned well, dry bland pasta, food temp is lukewarm….huge disappointment !
Place was empty except three table with couple on at 5:45pm and hostess said they were full with reservation. I said really cant believe That. Lady from behind the bar walked up and looked at reservation book whispered to host about table was for 6:30. Hostess said I’m sorry but we are full. We are not doing to them again.
