Sorry wasn’t impressed. I don’t know. Maybe I just don’t get it. been there twice and tried 4 different things and wasn’t impressed. I really wanted to like it because of all the great reviews. I had biscuits and gravy, the skillet with the andoulie (sp) sausage, french toast and another skillet with sausage. They ranged from ok to I didn’t care for. The homemade ketchup was disgusting. I wanted to try the homemade jams but found out that breakfast doesn’t even come with toast. I will give it one last shot. But not a place I plan to go to often
Love this place! Small but amazing food, seriously one of the best breakfast restaurants near St. John, Cedar Lake, Dyer area. I saw one review saying they only took cash but everytime I have been there i have used my card so they must have changed that.
Great brunch spot. Menu and atmosphere reminds me of cute breakfast places in Chicago. Not much for vegetarians. Ingredients appear to be pretty good quality. Good price/value. Portions were good. Service was great – attentive and accommodating. Will be back with husband when we are in the area-he is a foodie!
Fabulous Breakfast. Went the other morning because we had heard so much about this spot from others. They were right! It was so sunny and welcoming with a woody view out the bank of windows. The daily papers were available if you wanted to catch up.And the menu was so creative and hard to choose.will have to go back for more choices. The delicious dish I had was vanilla soaked blueberry French toast.it was so delicate and soooo delish! My dinind partner picked out a skillet with sausage eggs and potatoes- the sausage was not his favorite and yet he made it all disappear! Oh and the coffee is good enough to drink without sugar and for me that is a tough one.our total bill plus a glass of milk for me came to $20. You have to try this charming early morning spot.it’s open only til 2:30pm so don’t miss a great breakfast there!Mary Kay Abblett

I love the food but they only accept CASH. Ridiculous they claim it has to do with charity but it is terribly inconvenient.also very cold. Bring a sweater.
Great Food/Great Price. Phenomenal chorizo skillet! The kids love the french toast. We haven’t had any of the refined dishes, but friends have and they rave the foor is great! So glad to see a local place bring some big time food to the area. Thanks Scrambled! The Dinans
