SMOKE FREE. White Rhino Bar & Grill decided to go family friendly and go non-smoking on July 1, 2012. There is an outside beer garden where people can smoke while enjoying their food and drinks.

Disappointing since opening… We used to love the White Rhino when it first opened. But since it is a late late night bar (3 a.m.). as is it counterpart Bottoms Up in Lansing, the place reeks of stale smoke and night old booze, backed up sewers Ugh for dining experience.Too bad they can’t go into the vacant area next store and separate dining totally from bar. This would elevate the problem. They have masterd both concepts bar and restaurant. However, not combined. Especially in today’s dining experience of major NO SMOKING establishments. `The menu is great the prices are awesome, but we too crinch as the stench of the place. Too bad it went from favorite to ugh in a years time!

Just okay. The food is typical bar food. Large menu but everything is fried. Their perch sandwich and burgers are good along with the chips. The place has smoking and you reek of it when you walk out! There is not a separate smoking section since it’s one big place. More for a college campus for young kids.

#1 In My Book. My husband and I are impressed by the food every time we eat here. Their homemade potato chips are to die for. My favorite sandwich is the Reuben. I am from Hobart and I go here everytime I get a chance.

Way too smoky. Can’t get away from itanywhere. Food is decent but the atmosphere is horrid.

Good, But…. Food is good, atmosphere is noisy, and too much smoke. Our group cringes everytime I suggest going there. I really wish they had a smoke free area. Slightly overpriced but unique.
