Use to be very good….. Well this place use to be the best Chinese food in Elkhart. Now, not so much. I don’t know if it is the economy or maybe a new chef but I just ordered a classic staple for me….hot and sour soup. This soup use to be wonderful and full of pork and mushrooms. What I received today was nothing but broth and bean curd… I am so disappointed. I found 1 small piece of pork and absolutely no mushrooms in it. Kenny and Rona (the owners) better get their act together and soon. I for one am now on another hunt for good Chinese food in Elkhart because what I received today is an utter disgrace!

Don’t let the building fool you as it looks tiny and could use a little touching-up. When you walk in you immediately see the kitchen area and the fact that it is clean. Most people get their orders to go since the seating area has only 4 tables, but if you do stay the service is good and the food is excellent. The portions are large so you can share or take it home for later. We love Moo Shu Pork and theirs is the best in the area.. husband likes the spicy scallop dish.
Num Nums. This is the best Chinese food in Elkhart and South Bend! Try the sauteed string beans, Yumo!!
Great takeout. This place is literally a hole in the wall–you don’t want to dine in, but it is great to carry out. Authentic Chinese done right–cheap and quick.
Great service and food. Their building is small, so I’m sure most of their business is carry-out. But we happened to eat in and had dinner served family style. Food tasted clean and delicious- not greasy and reheated like some places. Family owned and operated, I realized half way though the meal that I went to school with some of the owner’s grand children! The couple that own the place are adorable and only add to the charm.
