Never Left Hungry!. I have been eating at Michael’s for about 35 years. I usually get the pizza and it is very good. The homemade cheese is beyond compare. The ribs, prime rib and pasta are all great too. Mike’s is and has been family owned since day one and it shows. The service is fantastic and the dcor is laid back old school Italian.
Love this place!! Fantastic food (my favorite is the Eggplant Parmesan, my husband’s is the Plummers pizza, my kids love the spaghetti & meatballs), if you aren’t in the mood for Italian, try their burgers or chicken strips! Start with the beer cheese & crackers–you won’t regret it. Wonderful, laid-back atmosphere & friendly staff!
First time, overall quite good…. Good food & service, nice place, at reasonable price. Was bit disappointed in the prime rib – have had better, have had not as good… was expecting better here. It had pleasing taste, but missing some seasoning and also not as juicy / tender as would have liked. The pasta combo was quite tasty, and filling… leftovers are great! Also ordered a pizza to go; bacon on entire pie, with pepperoni on one half and then Italian sausage on the other… very good, probably best part of the meal (especially like the cornmeal dusting on the bottom of the thin crust) ;). The homemade cheese was first-rate, with pleasing smooth texture, and is very rich… little bit goes a long way. The salad (made with spinach) and the special bacon-infused dressing was excellent… as was the baked potato. As mentioned, the service is friendly and prompt, with water refilled and items brought and dirty done dishes removed. Nice place… will be back.
Frequent visitors. My husband and I went to Michael’s because we had a coupon, but the food, price, and friendly staff have kept us returning again and again. I enjoy the fresh and extra large salads with their homemade blue cheese dressing. My husband loves their warm sandwiches. He always has left overs for the next day. When it isn’t a date night the kids are always satisfied with the pizza. The dcor is old school Italian, but it is clean and cheery. It has become our go-to place to eat out!
