Garbage. This is the nastiest Mexican place I have ever been!! El magueys is the best I have found in elkhart. Don’t even waste your time at Ricky’s unless you like carrots in your food. I have never seen a Mexican place use carrots. Gross!
Fantastic. This place has the best ceviche and cebollas I’ve found.
This was our 1st time trying this restaurant. We ordered steak tacos with no onion and extra cilantro, 1 red sauce and 1 green sauce. The tacos were literally covered in onion and barely any cilantro. While picking out each piece of onion I thin found out that the meat was very greasy and fatty. However the horchata, was the best I have ever had. I may return for horchata and that’s about it.
Worth the stop. Amazing hole in the wall restaurant. Burrito’s are out of this world. When I use to work in Elkhart I would eat at Ricky’s about three times a week. There are few places left that can fill you up on 5 bucks. If Im driving anywhere remotely close to Elkhart I make sure to stop by, even if only for the fresh salsa and a bag a chips to go.
Best Burritos. Love this place! It has the best Burritos in the area and they are huge! I also get a side chile’ as well when I eat there. Love the variaty of hot sauces.
Best burrito I’ve ever had. So many reasons to love Ricky’s! Quality ingredients, ALL freshly prepared. AMAZINGLY fast, friendly service. Extensive, but not overwhelming menu. The dining room is small, but waiting for a table or a place at the counter is worth it. I drive from all the way from Mishawaka for my burrito fix.
Yummy. Awesome Mexican food at very reasonable prices. biggest burrito I have ever seen, enough to share! Ceviche and shrimp soup are also really good.
