I came, I ordered basic chicken tenders in buffalo sauce with a side salad , I was dissapointed. Buffalo sauce was not the traditional sauce, but tastes more like a mild BBQ sauce with a funny aftertaste. The chicken tenders seemed store bought not restaurant made. The individuals I came with were also dissapointed in their meals and we agreed not to visit Backstage again for a meal.
Good for a business lunch for sure. I liked the fish tacos. Fast service without being fast food. I hear it’s a nice place for on the evening to gather with friends. Not just a 20 something crowd but all ages.
Nice pre game place. My wife and I stopped in before an Icemen game for a quick dinner and beer. We shared an order of fries, which comes with your choice of three sauces. You had many to choose from. Fries were great. Not too greasy, and the sauces were all good. I had the fried tilapia tacos and they were huge! Very tasty as well. My wife had the pulled pork flatbread pizza. She liked it and the cook and waitress got her special request for it correct. Our service was great. Despite a large group of really drunk college guys behind us, she was attentive and friendly. Food came out In a timely matter. Place had lots of big screen tv’s and had a nice feel. Perfect place to go pre game for an event at the Ford Center. Other than my draft beer being served in a plastic cup (weird for a bar), and the loud drunk group, we had a good experience. We will be back next time we go the Ford Center.
