We went to Biaggis tonight for my brother’s birthday. We had a party of 14 so I called ahead and reserved the Wine Room. They have a $300 minimum order to use the wine room, but we met the minimum with no problem. We arrived at 5:30 and were immediately seated and our waitress brought us our drinks. My sister and I each got the antipasti bloody Mary. Unfortunately for us they have changed the recipe since the last time I got one and they are now made with cucumber vodka. I do not like cucumbers at all so it was a waste of a $8.99 bloody Mary. We were served lots of fresh hot foccacia bread with olive oil and parmesan cheese, super good! I ordered the gorgonzola pork chops for $18.99. It came with two bone in pork chops whipped potatoes and a steamed vegetable. My meal was good, but might have liked the pork chop better without the sweet sauce on top. My husband got a pasta dish and added a salad. I had a bite of both, they were very good. Other guests got steaks, pasta dishes and one of the kids got a pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we got exceptional service. We also enjoyed the privacy of the private room. We did not try appetizers, because we were enjoying complimentary bread. The kids got ice cream sundaes with their meals and we brought our own birthday cake for dessert. All in all a nice meal with family.
Don’t waste your money. Everything is overpriced and incredibly bland. To start we ordered a Caesar Salad, which came out tasting like water. Just awful. I then ordered the $30 Filet Mignon medium, which came out overcooked with no flavor. The sides it came with couldn’t feed a small baby. Complete waste of $30. My fiance had the porkchops which at least had better portions, but she ended up getting sick that evening and thinks the porkchops were to blame. Not to mention the fact that the waitress forgot about us several times, forgot our dessert, and told us Happy Birthday when it wasn’t either of our Birthdays. Just wow. $95 meal for 2 people that wasn’t worth $15. Never going back.
I really like the ravioli. The butternut is my favorite. Staff is well trained and willing to offer thoughtful recommendations. The wine room is a nice idea for larger gatherings.
Love it!. We go here a lot. The service is always good & have never been disappointed.

Its decent. The food is good and the service is decent. I have never had a problem coming here that wasn’t promptly corrected. It is a bit pricey but compared to the other places in Evansville… It is well worth it!
Had an excellent lunch!- lobster corn chowder & prime rib sandwich both served hot and tasty. Service exceeded expectations as always- the manager even came by to chat29 Jun, 2014Excellent food and service! The Ziti Alforni is always good. I would also recommend the mussels as an appetizer.
