The Best Italian in Evansville???We have been to Biagis Italian restaurant numerous times. Tonight was a far different experience. I have eaten there when I didn’t think the Chicken Parmigiana was as fresh as it could be. But they have been consistently good 4 out of 5. Tonight was a departure from that. I ordered a simple spaghetti with meatballs and my wife ordered a chicken Alfredo. It took forever to get the food. And when it did come my order didn’t have any meatballs and there were whiskers e.g. facial hair all over the bowl. The waiter did not bring the food to us it was a runner. Our waiter stopped by and asked how was the food? Unfortunately I unloaded on him. My wife’s chicken Alfredo had approximately 2 ounces of chicken. My spaghetti had no meatballs and I was told they were waiting on them to come out of the oven. I advised the waiter that there was facial hair all over the bowl they had served me. He apologized and said the meatballs would be out soon. At that point I asked to speak to the manager. I was pretty upset. The customer service restaurant manager was quick to appear and he offered his apologies and stated that he would speak to the kitchen who of course is managed by a different person. The manager took care of all the charges which was a salad and a couple drinks. He gave us a gift card for 50 bucks. But we were still hungry and very disappointed and definitely not willing to wait for a redo. This restaurant is a small chain/franchise it has a good reputation in the local community but for my family, they totally blew it tonight considering the facial hair on my entree.
